Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. Brij also successfully led Julius Baer to being recognized as the \'Best Private Bank\' in the region by Banker Middle East.</p><p>He was previously a Managing Director at Merrill Lynch where the firm attained the \'Financial Company of the Year\' in the United Arab Emirates by the Department of Economic Development. His efforts also led Merrill Lynch to being recognized for its ?Best Practice? by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.</p><p>Brij had also been the Chairman of the Young Presidents\' Organization (YPO) in the Emirates besides being actively involved with numerous other organizations.</p><p>He was previously a Field Vice President at American Express Financial Advisors, where he was the top financial advisor in his first year starting out in Washington D.C. He worked in Corporate Strategy and Development and has been instrumental in building and developing many businesses for American Express. Brij Singh regularly writes articles on strategy and leadership development and is also the author of \'Wisdom Beyond Borders\' and \'Building Successful Organizations- A Directional Approach\'.</p><p>He lives with his wife Piyali and his two children Uday and Oona.</p>';
